In this issue, Dr. Goldilocks was up in the woods exploring the bear world. When she ran into a bear family house, she knocked but knows one answered so she just walked in. She walked in to find 3 beds. Goldilocks made an observation or something you sense... she said there was one air bed, one regular bed, and one water bed. By inferring Dr. Goldilocks said that she thinks that the water bed is the bed that is most slept on by the bears because it was the most comfy! Dr. Goldilocks decided to make this an experiment starting with the IV also known as something you change on purpose. She looked around and said "The IV of this experiment is the type of beds. Now next up will come the levels of IV or as I like to call it the things that you will change on purpose. They are the beds: air, regular and water. Then she stated that the DV was something she was going to have to measure, once she figured it out she wrote down "The DV is how long they sleep on each bed" Dr. Goldilocks had an idea of which on she would sleep on the most! Nevertheless, Dr. Goldilocks came back from dreaming about sleeping and went back to work to find the units she will measure or can be called how you will measure your experiment in. She flipped flopped ideas; she went from seconds to minutes, from minutes to what other than hours? " Now that I have my units I will measure in I have to find what will stay the same or the constant," she told me. Yet again Dr, Goldilocks had to think ( as you can tell she has to think for every step just to make sure) after thinking she said that she had to have two things stay the same, or otherwise known as the constant. It was the size of bed, and the location of the bed. To finish off the experiment Dr. Goldilocks had to make a purpose. If you may not know the purpose is explaining what the purpose was and it looks like this, "The purpose of this experiment is to determine the effect of the type of mattress on how long they sleep in each bed." Dr. Goldilocks took a long time making this experiment and she and I would like to thank you for reading this article! Thank you!
